Dr. Nicolas Acevedo is a Research Area Specialist Associate. As an applied microeconomist specializing in education policy, his work is focused on how organizational and market-level factors shape institutional decision-making and student outcomes in postsecondary education, especially in career and technical education. His current work explores how managerial incentives and external labor market policies shape educational access. He has also contributed to international research and evaluation efforts, including a national tutoring RCT in Paraguay for the Inter-American Development Bank and consulting for the World Bank on skills development.
He holds a Ph.D. in Economics and Education from Columbia University.
